It started in China and ended in Prague

In 2017 I saw paint-by-numbers made from a photograph for the first time, on a trip to China. I brought one home to my then girlfriend — now my wife and the mother of our two children — and she loved it so much that I decided to give it a try.

In 2018 I started selling paint-by-numbers kits. But reselling somebody elses products soon stopped being enough. I wanted to decide how the kits look and what they are made of. So in 2019 we opened our own production in Prague.

We have grown since then. Today you will find not only paint-by-numbers, but also diamond painting, dot painting and other techniques — and all of them are made in our factory.

Why Europe and not China

I believe creative kits can be made in Europe just as well. And that it is worth doing.

Goods that do not have to fly halfway around the world reach you sooner and with a smaller footprint. Within the European Union there are no customs charges and no unpleasant surprises when the parcel arrives. What you order is what you get.

And if something does go wrong, we sort it out quickly. You will not wait weeks for a reply or ship a parcel to the other side of the planet — you write to us and we put it right.

We are not an anonymous storefront with an address somewhere far away. There is a real workshop behind this, real people, and a name you can hold to account.

I am in the factory every day. I see what goes out, and I care that it is right — because my name is on it.

We try to improve something every day. Sometimes it is the material, sometimes the packaging, sometimes the way we keep you posted about your order. If you can think of something we could do better, tell us.

I am from Prague and I am proud of it. It makes me happy that our canvases travel to every corner of Europe carrying Czech work with them.
