Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my photo is good enough?
The preview in the configurator shows you how the print will look before you order. As a rule, the larger the print, the sharper the photo needs to be. If there is any problem with your photo, we'll contact you before we print it.
Which finishes can I choose from?
Inner wooden frame — canvas stretched over a pine frame, ready to hang. Cardboard board — canvas mounted on a solid board, available for smaller sizes. Rolled canvas — just the print without a frame, a quarter cheaper; you frame it however you like.
What does printing over the edges mean?
The image passes smoothly from the front surface onto the sides of the frame, so there is no empty or single-colour border. The print looks whole and modern, and it looks good even up close or from the side. Technically this is called the bleeding effect (the image continues over the frame edges), and we use it on all our canvas prints.
What canvas do you use?
Polyester canvas with a weight of 240 g/m², made of 100% polyester canvas. It resists moisture, holds its shape, and pigment colours last much longer on it than on cheaper materials.
How is the print framed?
The canvas is stretched over a wooden pine frame. Smaller sizes have a lath profile of 16×30 mm, while the largest formats 80×80, 80×100 and 80×120 cm have a 20×35 mm profile. On the 80×100 and 80×120 cm sizes we add a reinforcing inner bar so the centre of the frame doesn't bow.
How long do the colours last?
We print with original Canon pigment inks, which are much more durable than ordinary inks. Keep the print out of direct sunlight and the colours will stay true for many years.
How do I hang the print?
The print on a wooden frame and on a cardboard board both arrive ready to hang — just a nail or a hook in the wall, no glass, no mat and no extra framing needed. Rolled canvas you can have framed to your own taste, or stretch it over your own frame.
Where are the prints made?
We make them in our own factory in Prague. The print shop, workshop and warehouse are all under one roof — no production abroad, no middlemen.
