Original oil painting, Russian artist, Ivan Sergevich Kylikov 1875-1945, signed on the back. This artist's teachers were V.E. Makovskiy and I.E. Repin and N. Bogdanov-Bel'skiy. Kylikov helped Repin and Bogdanov-Bel'skiy with several big paintings (look www.art-catalog.ru). This painting is a copy of Bagdanov-Bel'skiy's painting by Kylikov with Bagdanov Bel'skiy around 1899-1901. The painting has been mildly restorated in 2 places barely noticable.On the back of the painting there is a name "dver' v shkole" translating to "door in the school".
