mdfineart Store OIL 'CAP MARTIN' CLAUDE MONET 1840-1926 SIGNED FANTASTIC FRENCH SCENE 'CAP MARTIN' - CLAUDE MONET 1840-1926 - SELLING WITH LOW RESERVE Description: Wonderful oil painting dating to c 1890/1900. This is truly a beautifully painted masterpiece with great tones and pastel colours. Attributed to Monet, this painting has been seen by Sotheby's who are undecided on its authenticity. As you know for Sotheby's to stick their neck out a painting has to have rock solid provenance. This painting has come from a private deceased estate. This painting cost me a lot of money and so regrettably I have to set a reserve. Artist: Claude Monet, French 1840-1940. The greatest impressionist painter and widely collected and valued the world over fetching many millions of dollars. Medium: Oil on canvas. Size: 24" x 15" and framed another 1.25" all round. Condition: Excellent condition. Never been touched. The signature is perfectly genuine and does not fluoresce under UV/Black light. As always I only sell quality paintings.
