Boy in Seal Skin Alaska Art Inuit Eskimo 1 of a kind Picture(s) and Description:

About The Artists of Arctic_Gallery: Ben and Elisabeth Seymour have lived in rural Alaska for seven years in some of the most isolated communities left in North America. From the islands in the Bering Strait to the villages situated on the Yukon River, Ben & Elisabeth found a landscape and lifestyle that they felt was worth recording in paint. Public Educators by trade, they have found themselves in a unique position for seeing and recording the life and land of rural Alaska from up close, feeling especially privileged to live and work in an area that is of increasing interest to the populated world, but one that this world is not necessarily familiar with. You can see more examples of their painting at http://arcticgallery.blogspot.com Benjamin David Seymour & Elisabeth Colson Seymour are listed on artprice.com and are currently the only artists consistently painting in Rural Alaska. Acrylic painting on board 6 x 8 in. by Elisabeth Colson Seymour. Executed on site in rural Alaska. Notice fine detail to this boy's handmade atkuq or parka. This piece is entitled "Boy in Sealskin" and you will not find another! We've put a low reserve price on this item and are happy to work with customers to make a sale. Provenance: This painting comes to you direct from the artist, Elisabeth Colson Seymour. We will provide the buyer with a COA upon request. Please see our other listings as we have more great art, etc. Terms of Sale: We appreciate your business and strive to make sure all transactions are completed smoothly, professionally and efficiently. I have provided the use of a shipping calculator to your location, but have found the last few sales the shipping calculator has been very far off of actual shipping costs from Rural Alaska. Insurance: Insurance is required and will be billed at about 10% of Final Selling Price (however, usually not less than $5). We’ve made an insurance estimate, but the actual price may be higher or lower, depending on the final selling price. Returns: Satisfaction Guaranteed. If you are unhappy with your piece for any reason, we will be happy to give you a full refund, but will charge for return shipping. Pricing: We price all of our artwork on eBay to sell at least 40% lower than a buyer would pay in a gallery--usually much lower than a 40% savings. Sometimes, we will list a painting on eBay before we offer it anywhere else. We also understand that art is a commodity, just like bread or oil. Because of the uniqueness of landscape paintings of rural Alaska, we feel strongly that the value of our art will appreciate; this has already happened just in the short time we have been offering our art to the public at large. If you feel that you would like an item, but that we are asking too high a price, just let us know. We are happy to accommodate reasonable and interested buyers, and all of our customers are important to us. Please feel free to send us your best offer. All offers are considered! We will be happy & look forward to offering 2nd chances etc. as appropriate.Arctic_Gallery reserves the right to keep any images of their original work displayed on their blog & reserves the right to end any listing at any time.
